Recon Inspection Ltd. is looking for certified API Inspectors to perform full-time inspections near Rocanville SK.Responsibilities: - Perform API inspections, assessing inspection results, reporting all findings, and recommending any required repairs- Assist other inspectors with daily tasks as required- Observe and follow safety rules and practices, and other safety requirements for all projectsSkills and Qualifications: - API certification required (4+ years experience preferred)- IRATA 1+ certification and/or the interest in obtaining is highly preferred- Technical understanding of API standards, relevant codes and supporting documentation- GMSA (General Mine Safety Awareness), WHMIS and drug/alcohol testing will be required before accessing the site. A fully vaccinated status against COVID-19 is also required by the client.- Valid class 5 drivers license required.- Effective at project coordination and time management- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, etc)- Exceptional attention to detail- Ability to effectively communicate with the client and co-workers- Able to work independently as well as in a team environment- Technical writing and reporting skills- Knowledge of or experience on AutoCAD is an asset- Experience in utilizing an asset management system- Additional inspection certifications such as CWB and CGSB are an assetExperience: - API 570: 4 years (preferred)- API 510: 4 years (preferred)- API 653: 4 years (preferred)These positions are considered local to Rocanville, as such travel/LOA may not apply for full-time, year round employment.
