Job Description

Topa Career OpportunityTopa is looking for motivated Security Personnel to join our team in Rocanville. The successful candidate will be responsible for working as part of the Security team at Nutrien.Position Title: Security PersonnelLocation: Rocanville- NutrienHours: CasualStart Date: ImmediateClosing: Position will remain open until a successful candidate is hiredResponsibilities:

  • Manage access cards through the security computer system
  • Camera Surveillance
  • Monitor the telephone, transferring calls and using the paging system
  • Complete weekly fire alarm testing
  • Complete weekly inventory and unit checks
  • Monitor access gates and parking lots
  • Greet customer and register visitors as needed
  • Provide basic first aid
  • Ensure the protection of people, assets, and property
  • Conduct preventive surveillance rounds according to established procedures
  • Provide impeccable customer service
  • Prevent fire, theft, and vandalism
  • Enforce the regulations in effect at the premises
  • Write daily reports and incident reports
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Valid Security Guard License
  • First Aid level C with AED
  • Professional deportment
  • Proactive, attention to detail, self-motivated and team player
  • Above average written, oral communication and computer skills
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Driver’s license and access to a vehicle
  • Previous experience in security (asset)
