• Lead cross-functional groups of subject matter experts to identify gaps in the current Operations and Maintenance Material Flow and revise/develop a range of improvements across the Scissors Creek Site.
• Revise and create process training documents and coaching several groups of stakeholders
• Identify opportunities for coaching and accountability follow up
• Identify gaps of information flow within Work Order Process across Maintenance, Operations and Procurement
• Create more efficiency in current material flow by increasing transparency of kitting areas, streamlining material return process, designating areas for consumable inventory items, implementing mobile devices etc.
• Lead conversations with project sponsors and other key internal stakeholders to develop a strong understanding of process drivers to identify opportunities and create understanding of the value gain
• Create a project roadmap to lay out project milestones
• Develop effective strategies and goals to ensure and monitor project success; create and implement action plans; evaluate and report on project status and results
• Develop materials to facilitate and frame the appropriate discussions during working sessions
• Oversee change management activities under the initiative and successfully transitioning ownership of the change to respective support teams involved
• Work together with the other site’s lead to facilitate the sharing of best practices, create relationships, and develop processes and tools to standardize and streamline the change across both sites
• Ensure constant communication with various stakeholders to ensure transparency to the entire project as it progresses

What you will bring:

• 2-5 years of experience in process optimization, or project management; with knowledge of mining and milling processes
• Experience with Microsoft Office software, Oracle, and Viziya
• Experience with PROSCI or other industry standard Change Management Certification are considered an asset
• Inclusive and influential leadership style that allows you to rally people together and create sustainable change
• Thorough critical thinking, problem solving and decision-making skills
• Track record of successful execution of results in a team setting
• Ability to effectively communicate, written and oral, with a variety of stakeholders - internal and external
• Highly motivated to work independently to initiate conversation and change through various phases of the project
