  • The Mine Operations Coordinator is responsible for the effective collaboration between the Mine and Mill/Shaft operations and Maintenance teams with respect to planned or unplanned maintenance, break-in work or any major events
  • Provide safe, reliable and cost effective coordination of activities to achieve established mine plan and minimize any production impact that may arise from unplanned events
  • The Mine Operations Coordinator is responsible for the effective collaboration between the Mine and Maintenance teams with respect to planned or unplanned maintenance, break-in work or any major events directly related to our Operator Not Present at mining machines strategy
  • Instructing Contractor Supplied Production Assistance tasks
  • Delay/Downtime summarization
  • Organization of overtime resources in accordance with Mine Production plan
  • Setting and communicating production targets on a shift by shift basis
What you will bring:
    • Must possess strong critical thinking, planning, organizational, time management and problem solving skills
    • Experience in Microsoft Office, scheduling software such as Vizyia, EAM, Teams and RTDuet or similar delay tracking and production reporting software
    • Excellent oral, written and interpsersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to lead, educate and mentor
    • The Mine Operations Coordinator must have 8 to 10 years mining experience with a thorough understanding of the potash mining process, production planning and factors that impact safety, cost and effectively meeting operational targets
    • A demonstrated commitment to safety
