We look for people who have a safety-first mindset, who are collaborative team players, who deliver on their commitments, who are innovators in search of a better way, and who believe in inclusion.Working at Nutrien will provide you an opportunity to help us Feed the Future, and grow your career.Operational Excellence Mill Lead - (Rocanville, Saskatchewan, Canada)What you will do:Analyze data on current performance and identify opportunities for improvement initiatives across the Rocanville siteWork with multi-functional groups, including front line employees, to facilitate development of initiatives, ensuring high levels of collaboration, accountability and buy-in from the internal groups involvedDrive conversations with key internal stakeholders to develop a strong understanding of process drivers to inform opportunitiesDetermine estimated value of different initiative opportunities and be able to prioritize through combining analytic insights with interviews and discussions with the appropriate subject matter expertsDetermine the right stakeholders to engage at the various points of the improvement process (e.g., diagnosis, ideation, prioritization, execution, etc.)Track progress to identify the initiatives at risk and determine methods to ensure that the initiative is on trackCommunicate efforts to leadership team while recognizing contributions of employeesAttend and facilitate discussion across site and corporate teams (operational excellence, NPOWER, NRICH, etc.) to enable brainstorming of solutions and knowledge sharing across different expertise areasDevelop materials to facilitate and frame the appropriate discussions during working sessionsCreate relationships with other sites and facilitate the sharing of best practicesDevelop processes and tools to continue to build and refine the operational excellence and continuous improvement strategy for the site ensuring alignment with the 5 year site planOversee the Management of Change process as well as the development and implementation of the continuous improvement programWhat you will bring:Minimum 2 years of experience in process optimization, with knowledge of mining and milling processesStrong safety leadership and commitment to safetyStrong facilitation skills, able to manage and coordinate discussion across diverse stakeholdersProficient in Microsoft Excel to develop models to run data analysisTrack record of successful execution of results in a team settingStrong communication skills with ability to process and explain complex technical concepts and align organization on decisionsAre you a good match Apply today!Nutrien is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to creating an inclusive workplace.
