  • Develop project ideas into standard deliverable products ready for the stage gate process
  • Create clear and attainable project goals in consultation with stakeholders, sponsors, subject matter experts (SMEs) and the program manger
  • Collect, communicate, and document project requirements in WBS and schedules
  • Identify, communicate, and guide risk associated to the project
  • Facilitate development of required stage deliverables
  • Ensure that all milestone and/or key deliverables within a stage have been reviewed and accepted by stakeholders
  • Complete financial approval documents (Cost estimates, requisitions, requests for funding)
  • Monitor and care for project performance - cost, schedule, scope and quality
  • Care for change requests through the Project Change requests
  • Communicate project performance and changes with stakeholders
  • Care for and communicate with project team
  • Perform change management activities for the project as required to ensure the effective creation, implementation, and attainment of business value of the deliverable
  • Accountable to ensure the deliverables for each stage are completed and ready for submission for approval
  • Accountable to ensure that all funding request documents are complete and ready for submission for approval
  • Accountable to ensure change order requests are adequately documented prior to approval requests
What you will bring:
  • PMP or other formal project administration training would be considered an asset
  • 4-6 years experience managing projects and/or major maintenance projects
  • Ability to effectively communicate, written and oral, with a variety of stakeholders - internal and external
  • Thorough critical thinking, problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Highly motivated
  • Detail oriented with the ability to work in an exciting team environment
  • Experience with Microsoft Office software, Oracle, Jira, financial administration software, P6 scheduling are all considered assets
  • Experience with project coordination, construction administration, supervision, quality assurance/control, and procurement are all considered assets
