Job Description

Underground Equipment OperatorsLocation: Scissor Creek NutrienStart Date: ImmediateReporting to the Supervisor – this role will include but not limited to:Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the safe operating of a variety of heavy equipment within the project’s scope.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and repair to all Power Mobile Equipment; Required to complete all corresponding logbooks with given repair/maintenance measures
  • Ensure all permits are completed and utilized when needed
  • Communicate effectively with project team members and Client
  • Adhere to safety policies and procedures set out by Noble and Client
  • Able to follow and give clear verbal direction
  • Attend all toolbox talks, safety meetings and complete all documentation as requested by Noble Construction management team
Job Skills:
  • A minimum of three years of relevant work experience in an underground mine environment.
  • Experience operating a skid steer loader, scoop, telehandler, and any other relevant equipment
  • Grade 12 or GED equivalent
  • Able to work as part of a team, and individually when required
  • Must possess basic English verbal, written and comprehension skills
  • Ability to listen and take direction with positive attitude
