Job Description

Job Scope: Quality Control is responsible for inspecting all parts after any work is performed. The Quality Controller must be able to inspect for conformity, and reject any non-conforming parts. The Quality Controller also is a contact point for all employees of the shop to answer questions and relay guidance to ensure parts are being produced as the client has specified.Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for measuring and inspecting parts; all parts throughout the production realization
  • Responsible for checking for current revision levels on drawings
  • Responsible for checking for proper documentation
  • Responsible for communication results to shop
  • Responsible for quarantining non-conforming product
  • Responsible for performing tool calibrations
  • Responsible for performing shop flow of parts (machine shop to anodize)
  • Responsible for CMM Inspection
  • Is involved with ensuring compliance to various sampling plans and customer inspection requirements
  • Responsible for communicating with management on lot rejects findings
  • Is involved with bringing solutions to root cause
Work EnvironmentSome tasks and responsibilities are performed directly on our shop floor where Safety and PPE is required.Physical demands may include extended periods of standing or sitting, and lifting or moving up to 15 pounds.Work Experience: We are currently looking for a Quality Inspector that has 3-5 years experience.Job Type: Full-timeSalary: $17.00-$25.00 per hourBenefits:
