Job Description

Novid Inc. is an industry leader in the manufacturing of Stainless-steel agricultural products.We are currently accepting applications for the position of:Design and Drafting Support

  • Starting wage dependent on qualifications.
  • Monday-Friday
Duties include but are not limited to:
  • Work with sales and production teams to determine and communicate details
  • Correctly interpret sales data and translate to shop drawings
  • Create accurate and timely customer and shop floor drawings
  • Work with SolidWorks for product models to produce drawings
  • Maintain, update, and generate information from product lines
  • Fluid and timely communication with team members
  • Independent management of tasks and projects as assigned
  • Work with and create standard work within engineering department
Employment requirements:
  • Minimum education requirement: High school diploma, some post-secondary is preferred
  • Computer proficiency
  • SolidWorks experience is an asset
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel is an asset
  • Manufacturing background and asset
  • Systems and process driven bias
  • Acute sense for details
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Strong ability to communicate orally and written
  • Goal/results oriented
