Job Description

Novid Inc. is an industry leader in the manufacturing of Stainless steel agricultural products.We are currently accepting applications for the position of:Transport ManagerHours: Monday-Thursday on Call FridaysOur expectations are that the successful recipient will not only supervise and manage, but also work along side the team to ensure completion of the following tasks:Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Scheduling (Day to day, Maintenance on trucks/trailers, preventative maintenance)
  • Maintaining all maintenance and transport records
  • Working with our truckers to deal with on route breakdowns
  • Work closely with the logistics department to schedule loading
  • Create a strong, team-based environment
  • Develop and improve systems and SOPS
  • Be directly involved in maintenance and repair of equipment (This would be a hands-on role)
  • Ensure the transport division is functioning safely and within regulations
Employment requirements:
  • High school diploma
  • Class 1 drivers (preferred, not required)
  • Strong organization and interpersonal skills
  • Ability and willingness to learn
  • Team oriented approach to leadership
  • Ability to work in a physical environment (Able to lift 50 lbs)
  • Supervisory/Management Experience
  • Computer skills (Basic ability to work with Microsoft office. Primarily, word, excel and outlook)
