Job Description

The Opportunity:*Up to $5,000 Sign-On Bonus Available for Qualified Drivers*The OpportunityClean Harbors Edmonton, AB is looking for a Class 1 Driver to join their safety conscious team! You will be responsible for the transportation of contaminated soil and non-hazardous/hazardous waste (B-Train and/or Van) from a client site to our Clean Harbors facility or outside disposal facility.Why work for Clean Harbors

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
  • Driving and operating one or more of the following units: Super B, Roll-off, End Dump or Lugger Units;
  • Completing the proper documentation for the job using handheld units and/or paper documenting techniques, including pre/post trips;
  • Completing minor vehicle maintenance;
  • Maintaining the cleanliness of the unit;
  • Providing high levels of customer service to our client base.
What does it take to work for Clean Harbors
  • Ability to travel overnight 1-2 weeks required;
  • Class 1 license required;
  • Minimum of 3 years previous commercial driving;
  • Minimum of 2 years previous experience with units such as Super B, Roll-Off, End Dump and/or Lugger units required;
  • Previous experience operting a manual transmission required;
  • DOT and TDG knowledge and understanding;
  • Strong verbal communication.
