Job Description

Ryley Sausage is a family owned and operated business in Ryley, Alberta. We are a regulated facility, and pride ourselves on providing fresh, high quality meats across Alberta.We are currently seeking General Labourers to join our Production and Packing team.Experience in a food manufacturing plant is considered an asset, but willing to train the right individuals. Shifts may very by week depending on production needs.Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Manufacturing sausage and deli products
  • Cleaning the manufacturing floor following production
  • Packing/Labelling of cooked product into vacuum bags and boxes
  • Assisting with loading delivery vehicles for distribution
  • Enforce and maintain all Food Safety Requirements and Safe Work Practices
  • Help maximize production flow efficiencies while minimizing downtime
  • Other general labourer duties as required
Other Information:This position is repetitive in nature and requires you to be physically fit, with the ability to lift up to 40lb. Combination of standing, reaching, kneeling throughout shift. Must be tolerant of cool temperatures (meat processing plant) and able to speak English or Spanish.Shift: 8:00AM – 3:00PM, Monday to Thursday (Hours may vary from 6-8 hours depending on need)Job Type: Part Time or Full Time PermanentSuccessful candidates will be offered paid probationary shifts to determine if they will be a good fit with our team.Job Types: Full-time, Part-timePart-time hours: 30 per weekSalary: From $18.00 per hourBenefits:
