Job Description

Night ManagerYou are the go-to person for all things overnight. As Night Manager you are actively working hand in hand with your team to deliver the Wow guest experience, being an example of true hospitality and stepping in to assist the guest as needed, especially at night when your hotel has the most guests - and the least staff - on property. In the role of Night Manager, you will:

  • Be Guest Centric - ensure the front office team is focused on the guest and that team is well trained to meet and exceed standards
  • Be the Ear that Hears - talk to the guests as they check in and when they leave, pro-actively addressing any concerns they may have, elevating them to the next level if needed. Do the same for your staff so they know they can turn to you if challenges arise.
  • Be A Role Model - walk the talk and then empower your staff to do the same. Show them how to exceed needs so the guests are generous with their praise. Be an example of hospitality professional.
  • Be the Third Shift Manager on Duty -take charge of the department and/or property when required and train your team - especially your auditors - to step into that role as needed.
Requirements: Job RequirementsThis role requires at least two years of progressive supervisory experience at a hotel front desk or related, with a four-year college degree and/or relevant college course work preferred. Discipline-specific hospitality industry and general hotel department knowledge experience is expected. Good verbal and written English communication skills are required, with a second language helpful. You must be able to handle cash or credit transactions and have front office software proficiency. You must also be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately, handing problems (including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems) as needed. This job requires light work - exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds frequently with a regular need to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Long hours working in a quiet environment, many of which may be spent standing or walking, sometimes required.Quick Apply
