Job Description

Kelly Cove Salmon Ltd., a division of Cooke Aquaculture Inc., a dynamic and growing east coast family company, with Platinum Member status in the Canadas Best Managed Companies Program. We are currently recruiting for a highly motivated individual to assume the role of Dive Dispatcher based out of St. George, NB.Cooke is a global seafood company with operations in North America, Europe, and South America. Our companys success is driven by our dynamic, highly skilled, and innovative management team, supported by dedicated employees who live in coastal communities and contribute to the local areas economy and sense of community.The RoleAs Dive Dispatcher, you will report to the Corporate Dive Manager and develop close working relationships with the Dive Team.Reporting to the Corporate Dive Manage and through developing close working relationships with the Dive Team, the Dive Dispatcher is responsible for:

  • The daily scheduling of in-house and contract divers
  • Tracking training & development documentation
  • Promoting safety culture
  • Managing all aspects of the travel planning process including accommodations
A successful candidate will:
  • Have a minimum of two years in a related field
  • Be able to coordinate dive schedules, dive teams, etc.
  • Be able to plan future requirements for staffing etc.
  • Effectively develop site staff and delegate responsibilities
  • Be able to analyze problems and make appropriate recommendations
  • Have strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Possess a team-collaborative work style
  • Have proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Word
