Job DescriptionAnnual salary 110K + bonusThe Maintenance manager is a crucial key member of Techo-Bloc’s Saint-Hubert facility. Overseeing the plant’s inventory, machinery and repairs, they are a champion of safety, training and preventive, corrective and continuous improvement maintenance interventions. We are looking for a highly motivated leader with a strong work ethic and a go-getter, self-starter attitude who is constantly looking to challenge the status quo and lead multiple projects that will help further Techo-Bloc #39;s drive to progress and innovate.If you have experience in the manufacturing sector, you are not afraid to roll up your sleeves, to jump right in, and if you want to work for a company that listens and is dedicated to your progress this may be your next career move!Here is a snapshot of your day-to-day:

  • Utilize your extensive knowledge of mechanical and electrical concepts to oversee the facility plant, repairs and various maintenance projects;
  • Manage the maintenance team members (electromechanics, electric specialist, parts store clerk), allocate tasks to them and ensure their timely completion;
  • Performs the planning and scheduling activities for corrective and preventive maintenance work orders to improve uptime;
  • Receive and respond to facility work orders. Determines root cause, best course of action and clearly communicates plans to maintenance team;
  • Lead complex industrial troubleshooting through planning, and execution in both mechanical and electrical breakdowns;
  • Forecast material requirements so that the maintenance team always has access to spare parts in order to perform preventive tasks;
  • Perform inspections and preventative maintenance on production machinery, tools, etc.;
  • Track inventory, repairs, and facility equipment by working with the store personnel;
  • Professionally develop our maintenance team by offering training and guidance on equipment, safety, processes, etc.;
  • Support maintenance technicians, working side-by-side with floor associates;
  • Intervene and recommend appropriate solutions to complex and new problems.
  • Spends 70 % of time on the shop floor not in the office;
  • This role is designed as a Monday to Friday fulltime position,; however, the right candidate has the willingness to work flexible manufacturing schedules including nights, weekends, etc. when needs demand;
