Job Description

Working at Freudenberg: We will wow your world!Responsibilities:

  • You will gather and understand purchasing needs from R amp;D, Production, Quality, and Maintenance departments.
  • You will oversee all logistical processes within the purchasing area, continuously improving value-adding processes in collaboration with relevant departments.
  • You will establish key performance indicators and target values for the purchasing area to ensure alignment with company goals and customer requirements.
  • You will manage budgets efficiently, making optimal use of allocated resources.
  • You will provide initial reports and documentation to Regulatory, Administration, Sales, Head of Purchasing, and Quality Management to support decision-making.
  • You will ensure the availability of all materials required for production, including raw materials, packaging, and other consumables.
  • You will maintain and update purchasing processes and work instructions in our Quality Management system, ensuring compliance with certifications.
  • You will support technical departments and operations engineering with the procurement of machines and capital goods based on specified requirements.
  • You will foster and maintain strong, effective relationships with Capol Inc. #39;s suppliers.
Qualifications:
  • You hold a university degree (BBA with a focus on materials management/logistics) or have comparable commercial training.
  • You have 3-5 years of professional experience, preferably in the chemical or food industry.
  • You possess strong negotiation skills, both tactical and strategic, and are driven to secure favorable terms for Capol Inc.
  • You have initial experience with SAP, and knowledge of Microsoft Office and Teams is a plus.
  • You are fluent in both French and English, with strong oral and written communication skills.
  • You are highly self-motivated with a keen interest in continuous improvement and the ability to set and re-prioritize tasks daily.
  • You demonstrate flexibility and a solution-oriented approach to embrace change effectively.
  • You are able to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • You bring a sense of initiative, versatility, leadership, reliability, and rigor to your work.
