Job Description

Acadia Broadcasting is a growing media company with radio stations across Atlantic Canada and in Ontario. We are driven to provide cutting edge marketing solutions to our local businesses through a vast array of services including digital and radio marketing, website design, social media consulting and management. Our goal is to offer the right media and management for each buy.We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as an Advertising Consultant at 97.3 The Wave and Country 94 in Saint John, New Brunswick. This sales position is responsible for selling cutting edge marketing solutions to local businesses through radio and digital advertising solutions. If you have a desire to learn the stories behind local businesses and offer guidance to help them grow and succeed - we want to hear from you!Your success will come from:

  • Building meaningful relationship with clients – their success is your success
  • Actively prospecting for new clients
  • Developing creative marketing solutions that address your clients’ needs
  • Being flexible with your work environment – at the office, home, or on the road
  • Being a self-starter who is organized and attentive to details
  • Maintaining acceptable account receivables
What we are looking for:
  • A friendly and engaging individual who is a skilled relationship builder
  • Experience in marketing, sales and/or customer service an asset
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task
  • Tech savvy and comfortable with Social Media channels such as LinkedIn
  • Post-secondary education in sales and marketing an asset
  • A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle is required
Compensation Structure:
  • Guaranteed Base Salary
  • Commission paid on sales
  • Monthly & Annual Bonuses
