Job Description

Acadia Broadcasting Limited is a growing company with 15 radio stations in Northwestern Ontario and Atlantic Canada. In each of our markets, our Company focuses on being the community’s local voice for entertainment, news, and events.97.3 The Wave and Country 94.1 have an exciting opportunity for a salesperson to join our team of Advertising Consultants in Saint John, NB. You will be responsible for selling radio and digital marketing campaigns to businesses in Saint John, NB and surrounding areas.Success will come from:
  • Prospecting for new clients through station leads, community connections, and referrals.
  • Building relationships with clients, understanding their advertising needs, and developing creative marketing promotions.
  • Becoming indispensable to the customer – their success is your success.
  • Maintaining acceptable account receivables.
Qualifications:
  • A genuine desire to help our clients grow their business.
  • Experience in sales, marketing and/or customer service an asset.
  • A degree or a diploma from a recognized college or university in sales and marketing would be considered an asset.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task
  • Comfort with Microsoft Office, CRM and Social Media channels such as LinkedIn.
  • A valid driver’s license and vehicle are required.
