Discover how you can make a difference in the lives of individuals, families and communities around the world.The successful candidate will join our dynamic HR Employee Experience and Shared Services Team to provide exceptional first line, Tier 1, HR support for active and inactive employees, managers and HR partners. This position places you at the center of all people activity in the organization.What will you do

  • Review and validate business process transactions in HR Systems (Workday and ADP Globalview)
  • Provide excellent customer service (through multiple channels including phone, email, and case management systems)
  • Use data driven insights to make decisions and improvements
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement for both HR and the employee experience
What do you need to succeed
  • Bilingualism (French, English) required - immediate manager is a unilingual Anglophone outside Quebec
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills
  • Strong organizational skills with a detail-oriented approach
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Strong aptitude for embracing new technology and the ability to simultaneously leverage multiple systems and resources
  • Responsive to feedback and proactively manage personal development
  • Promote an environment of teamwork to achieve common goals
Assets:
  • Experience with US and/or Canada Payroll Administration
  • Experience and/or education with a focus on Human Resources
  • CHRP or CHRL designation and/or working towards
  • Good working knowledge of Sun Life Human Resources policies and procedures
Unique Requirements:
  • Occasional overtime may be required
  • Some flexibility in hours of work may be required
  • Will occasionally need to be in office

The Base Pay range is for the primary location for which the job is posted. It may vary depending on the work location of the successful candidate or other factors. In addition to Base Pay, eligible Sun Life employees participate in various incentive plans, payment under which is discretionary and subject to individual and company performance.
