One of our global, telecommunications clients is looking for highly motivated Bilingual Technical Support Specialists to join their growing team in Gatineau, QC. The Bilingual Technical Support Specialist is responsible to deliver IT support services for both internal employees and external customers in a timely manner.Join an environment where your ideas are valued and heard!   • Monitor and manage Networks and Systems, recording and resolving customer IT issues in a timely manner.
  • Diagnose and identification of system faults and root causes, enabling controlled recovery of
services.
  • Executing troubleshooting and recovery procedures for networks, software, and system infrastructures.
  • Perform troubleshooting and problem analysis in a timely manner for internal employees and external customers.
  • Provide the escalation of Critical Incidents to Operations Management to facilitate reporting requirements.
  • Typical IT solutions being supported include; Windows Desktops, Windows Servers, Linux Servers, Out of Band
Management Solutions (modems), cloud-based application environments (Azure), custom hardware andsoftware components including body-worn cameras, video management applications and networkingdevices (switches, routers, and firewalls)Qualifications
  • Must be eligible for or obtain a Canadian Government Security Clearance
  • Willingness to work flexible hours such as; weekends, evenings, and some holidays
  • Fluently Bilingual (ENG/FRE)
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • IT Troubleshooting experience in network or software environments
  • Experience administering Microsoft CRM, Antivirus, and backup solutions
  • Providing network support using; VPN, VOIP, MPLS, BGP or SIP
  • Experience monitoring networks using a dashboard monitoring solution
  • Experience with ITSM ticketing systems such as; ServiceNow, Remedy, or other
  • IT-related certifications are seen as an asset
