Thats why were dedicated to investing in our employees’ potential, so that they can reach their career goals.Job DescriptionWhat you can expect in a typical day:The IT Vendor Management Specialist is responsible for enabling and supporting strategic management of Technology vendors to reduce risk and ensure operational performance. This includes: building stakeholder and vendor relationships, managing vendor performance, facilitating cost optimization and innovation, assessing and managing vendor risk, participating in Supply Management sourcing activities, and supporting business objectives.What we offer:

Your roles and responsibilities:
  • Support and enable Operational reliability and low-cost operation with strategic management of IT Vendors.
  • Hold IT vendors accountable to the agreed to service and benefits of the agreement and leverage our contracts to manage vendors as required.
  • Ensure vendor management processes are in place to enable the reliable, low risk management of IT vendors and agreements including policies, guidelines and practices.
  • Ensure agreements in place are correct for IT and reduce operational risk.
  • Ensure performance of IT Vendors is at / above expectation.
  • Manage agreements with vendors to reduce operational risk (new, renewals, terminations). Support the negotiation of agreements as needed as an advisor.
  • Build and develop relationships with IT management stakeholders and vendors. Lead and facilitate discussions related to vendor concerns with stakeholders.
  • Support sourcing strategy decision making of insource / outsource of services and participate in sourcing activities for IT business-critical services, including RFx, vendor selection, and contract negotiation or amendment. Initiate conversations, challenge thinking and facilitate the discussion with leaders to make decisions.
  • Evolve IT Vendor management competency and maturity.
  • Understand, monitor and report our Vendor landscape (utilization, performance, risk, other)
  • Review IT contract scope, service level agreements (SLA), and pricing schedules, as well as recommend changes, as required.
  • Organize and facilitate sessions such as Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR) with senior representatives from business-critical vendors, IT, Supply Management, and other business units, as required.
Professional skills
  • 10-15 years direct work experience in vendor relationship management, sourcing and/or contract management, including roles in developing technology strategy and/or cross-functional team leadership.
  • Subject matter expertise and knowledge of vendor performance management frameworks and governance.
  • Knowledge of current IT technologies.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and influence outcomes with internal stakeholders and senior vendor representatives.
  • Strong knowledge of contract regulations and structure, including scope, service levels, and supporting schedules.
  • Effective cost optimization and negotiation skills.
  • Experience in assessing and managing vendor risks, facilitating innovation opportunities, and developing short to long-term vendor strategies.
  • Ability to work independently, mentor others, and lead collaborative teams.
  • Can adapt quickly to shifting priorities and inspire change.
  • Demonstrated drive for continuous improvement.
Travel
  • Travel is not a requirement for this position.
Education and experience
  • University degree in the field of business or information technology, or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
  • Supply Chain, Project Management and/or Risk Management training preferred.
  • Knowledge of industry research and best practices.
