Job Description

Labour AnalystWhat you can expect in a typical day: ****The Labour Analyst is responsible for analyzing market data and tracking trends related to labour resources, compensation, competitor work schedules and labour demands. The Labour Analyst also develops detailed tracking mechanisms and report summaries to share with stakeholders. This role will also be responsible for supporting the Labour Relations Manager in a number of areas related to the development of the labour relations portfolio.What we offer:

Your roles and responsibilities:
  • Collect and evaluate information about competing labour resource organizations to identify gap areas.
  • Develop recommendations for trade mitigation strategies based on labour market data.
  • Produce dashboard reports.
  • Prepare analytical reports and briefing notes to share accurate information with stakeholders.
  • Coordinate, track and report on progression of assigned projects (e.g. labour market analysis, stakeholder (unions/contractors) relationship development, labour forecasting, etc.).
  • Develop reports to evaluate business opportunities and ensure Labour Relations is maximizing value add to the business.
  • Perform internal/external benchmarking and competitor analysis. Make recommendations based on the findings.

Travel:
  • Travel is not a requirement for this position.
Education and experience:
  • Post secondary education or equivalent experience in Human Resources or related field.
  • 2-3 years experience in labour relations or human resources is an asset.
  • Experience working in the oil and gas industry or construction is an asset.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint (create, populate, update), Power BI.
  • Knowledge of Oracle, Sage and IQN an asset.
  • Experience building analytical models and conducting thorough analysis is necessary.
