Job Description

Acadia Broadcasting is a growing media company with radio stations in Ontario and across Atlantic Canada. We are driven to provide cutting edge marketing solutions to our local businesses through a vast array of services including digital and radio marketing, website design, social media consulting and management. Our goal is to offer the right media and management for each buy.We are currently seeking an enthusiastic, results-oriented, problem solver to join our team as an Operations Manager . The successful candidate will be able to look at the business from a birds eye view to identify opportunities within our tools, technology and processes.As a member of our Head Office team, the Operations manager will work with the Senior Leadership team to lead the fulfillment arm of our creative business and the many projects associated with our long-term strategies.Additional accountabilities include:

  • Participating in Business Operations Processes, Operational Reporting and Continuous Improvement of Business Operations
  • Developing data driven solutions to business process improvement
  • Supporting and leading the development of a roadmap to drive exceptional customer experiences
  • Work with the Senior Leadership Team to develop quarterly and Annual reporting on key projects and deliverables
  • Work with cross functional teams including Sales and Marketing, Finance, Programming and Product Fulfillment
What we are looking for:
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in operations and/or project management
  • Post-secondary education in business or a related field
  • Experience in marketing would be a preferred asset
  • Someone who appreciates the power of data to improve business operations, and thrive off enabling a team for success
  • Tech savvy and interested in learning about new tools and technology that optimize business operations
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
  • Knowledge of sales operations tools like CRM, or similar would be an asset
  • Experience in business operations including resource management, finance, sales operations
  • A people person who excels at building strong relationships with their teams
  • Active listener and analytical thinker
