Supported by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), the SJLIP was launched in May 2017 to bring together local stakeholders to develop and carry out a coordinated newcomer strategy for the City.This term position is for a period of over two (2) years. End date is March 31, 2025.The SJLIP Project Manager is responsible for the coordination of the Local Immigration Partnership and the implementation of key strategies to improve outcomes for immigrants living and working in Saint John. Housed within the Growth and Community Services service area of the City of Saint John, and under the direct supervision of the Growth Manager, the SJLIP Project Manager will be a champion for growth in Saint John.Key Responsibilities:Program manage and coordinate all aspects of the SJLIP, bringing resources together and building needed community relationships, ensuring timely communication to the community on achievements, status and next steps:
