SECURITY TECHNICIAN - Saint John/ Moncton, NB.Chandler is a collaborative team focused on high value products, services and solutions that assist our customers in achieving their business goals. Chandler is committed to providing the best, and to achieve the goal, we are also committed to hiring the best.Chandler Alarm and Communications Division is growing and currently searching for an Experienced Lead Security Technician. Duties will include but not limited to Alarm, CCTV and Access Control, Commercial Telephone, GPS, wireless service and installation.Requirements for the successful candidate will include:Must be well-organized, self-starter and capable of working with minimal supervision, keen ability to work and troubleshoot technical issues.Installation, service and maintain:CCTV (Network Video, Digital Video and Hybrid Video Systems), video security systems into businesses and high-end residenceAccess Control Systems, IntrusionAlarm Systems, Intercoms and Telephone Entry Systemsrun CAT5e, coaxial, and related cabling for video/security systems using ladder, scissor, or other aerial lifts.Understanding of current OS, networking, and IP configurationProvide technology service and support to all our customers, and aptitude for communications including wireless technology.Willingness to work beyond eight-hour days to meet customer needs and travel when required.Ability to work at heights requiring fall arrest and Lift training.Qualifications:More than 5 years' experience in Security Systems service and installation is required.Graduate of an Electronics Engineering Technician or Technologist Course or equivalent experience is an asset.Must have a Valid driver's license, vehicle supplied by employer.Chandler offers an excellent benefits and compensation package.
