With a culture that nurtures talent and creates an inclusive workplace, you can grow your career across our diverse operating divisions.We are looking for a Warehouse Operator to join our Irving Forest Services team, based in Saint John, New Brunswick.Who We Are:Our team operates within highly technical, fast paced, competitive businesses and is part of an integrated forest products value chain under J.D. Irving, Limited (JDI). Our goal is to play an integrated role in sustainably transforming our renewable forest resources into value-added products for today’s consumer markets.We are not just invested in forest products; we are invested in people. You Have:
  • Experience operating a forklift
  • Good time management skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Flexibility (quick changes, ability to adjust accordingly)
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Excel
  • Must be able to work 12-hour shifts
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environmentResponsibilities:
  • Operate clamp truck, forklift, and various pieces of equipment
  • Load trucks with product and complete paperwork for inventory and shipments
  • Follow all load protocols as required by our customers
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area and assist other personnel as needed to maintain the same conditions in the shipping area
