Established in 1976 the Saskatchewan Indian Institute of Technologies (SIIT) is a First Nation governed post-secondary institution. You can contribute to that success while building your career.Nature and ScopeThe Program Coordinator is accountable for the coordination and administration of quality adult programs and services for First Nations Learners. This position will positively promote and create an environment that demonstrates SIIT #39;s vision, mission, and mandate.General AccountabilityThe Program Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and managing the training initiatives with First Nation Communities and SIIT locations across Saskatchewan. The incumbent is responsible for the coordination of programs from start to finish, including administration and financial budgeting, program development, monitoring, as well as, recruitment and management of instructors and students, and completing evaluations. Specific AccountabilitiesThe Program Coordinator will be responsible for recruiting and onboarding new instructors and supervising programs, staff, and students to ensure effective delivery and continuous improvement. This role includes the evaluation of existing programs, recommending strategies for enhancement, and proactively seeking new programs and professional development opportunities. In collaboration with the Dean, the Program Coordinator will assess and adjust current programs and services to better meet the evolving needs of students, clients, and communities. Additionally, the position requires travel to assigned program locations or other approved work sites as part of the responsibilities.
