With a national office in Toronto and seven regional offices across the country, NCC delivers results you can walk on.Position SummaryThe GIS Coordinator – Working Landscapes is primarily responsible for organizing and integrating complex information from diverse disciplines in support of conservation planning and stewardship.This position will contribute to the short and long-term goals of the Working Landscapes Program in Saskatchewan by applying information management, GIS and cartographic skills in preparing datasets, data summaries, maps, planning documents, graphics and other technical materials for internal and external use, including for site planning, natural area conservation planning, and fundraising efforts. In addition to assisting in acquisition, organization, maintenance of and access to spatial and digital datasets the GIS Analysts will analyze, synthesize, interpret, document and integrate ecological and land use data into planning projects. Other responsibilities include providing logistical and technical support for management planning and monitoring.
