As the Operations Manager you will be responsible for ensuring that all operations and maintenance are conducted in accordance with the relevant Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs) and the Aeronautics Act. The Manager must provide leadership, direction, and the coordination of flight operations and maintenance for the safe, effective, and efficient operation of NRR’s helicopter fleet. It is imperative that the Manager provides solid leadership in maintaining the Air Operator Certificate (AOC) issued to NRR by Transport Canada.The Manager leads a team of aviation professionals and is responsible for the overall development of staff and the delivery of air services in accordance with legislation, policy, and regulations.The Operations Manager position is regulated under the Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs) Subparts 702.07 and 703.07. The qualifications and responsibilities of the Manager are defined under Standards 722.07(2)(a) and 723.07(2)(a).Primary AccountabilitiesThe Operations Manager reports to the Director, Fleet and Forest Protection.
