Job Description

  • The ability to read and interpret plans.
  • The ability to import and export field data.
  • Complete survey projects, such as establishing localized control, topographic surveys, non-legal boundary surveys, quality assurance as-builts, quantities and volumes, construction layout and return, and field grading stakeouts.
  • Operate GPS equipment (Experience with Topcon is considered an asset) on multiple jobsites.
  • Perform topographic surveys to determine volume quantities for progress billing.
  • Calculate given elevations/measurements from drawings and perform layout.
Qualifications:
  • A relevant technical diploma
  • Minimum of 1 year experience
  • Recent graduates will be considered
  • Proficient with GPS & Total Stations
  • Familiar with Civil construction plans. Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in the construction and drafting/survey industry
