Job Description

Home Manager (St. Johns)Momentum Developmental SupportYou know how rewarding it is to make a difference in the lives of persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You are responsible, highly motivated, and have strong leadership and communication skills. If this sounds like you, we have an opening for a Home Manager for Momentum Developmental Support in St. Johns.You will work collaboratively with the Regional Health Authority’s Social Work team and other members of the client’s care team to develop and implement a supportive living plan for the client. You will lead teams of Developmental Support Workers to provide safe, healthy, and therapeutic home environments for the clients in your care and will manage the day to day operation of these homes.The best person for this role is someone who has post-secondary education, and knowledge or experience working in the health care or social science industry. They will have exceptional decision making and problem-solving skills, good time management, handle stress well, and the ability to meet deadlines, work independently and stay motivated when faced with shifting priorities.As the successful candidate, you will enjoy working in an environment where no two days are the same, where professional development is encouraged and supported, and work with an organization that lives its core values.
