Job Description

Hickman Automotive Group is looking for a Express Service/Rental Clerk to join our team at Hickman Chevrolet Cadillac in St. Johns. If you are an energetic and motivated individual with a positive attitude, a dedication to providing exceptional customer service and a desire to succeed, we would love to have you!Responsibilities

  • Operate express lane drive-thru service for oil changes and tire rotations.
  • Responsible for customer rental check-in and out.
  • Writing repair orders.
  • Provides customers with consistent status updates.
  • Upsells required maintenance services within the scope of the express position (cabin air filters, wiper blades, etc.)
  • Is responsible for greeting customers and explaining check in process.
  • Monitor drive-thru traffic flow.
  • Directs Valet staff as necessary.
  • Processing all customer payments.
  • Should be capable of working independently, managing his or her time and work flow.
  • Reconciling cash balance daily.
Qualifications
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Well-developed team member skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, telephone and communication skills.
  • Ability to project a professional company image.
  • Experience in the customer service industry.
  • Strong work ethic.
  • Possess a valid NL Drivers License and has maintained a clean drivers abstract.
  • Experience in the automotive industry (Service) would be considered an asset.
