Job Description

Overview / Responsibilities:Wood has a great career opportunity for an experienced Fabric Maintenance Coordinator, in our St. Johns office.The Fabric Maintenance team is responsible for managing the on-going repair and maintenance of the Hibernia Platform. The team is primarily focused on ensuring the integrity of the Hibernia Platform and extending the operational life of the facilities and structural assets. The team develops and executes remediation plans on inspection reports, condition assessments, and general wear and tear that occurs throughout the platform.If you enjoy working in a high energized environment, collaborating with a diverse team of experts, and managing multiple tasks at once - then you may have found your perfect match!Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

  • Lead the day-to-day operations of the Fabric Maintenance Program
  • Provide support and direction to a multi-skilled team, assigning and prioritizing of work activities within the team
  • Act as a focal point with the client representatives with respect to Fabric Maintenance activities
  • Identify and prioritize Fabric Maintenance scopes from client inspection and assessment systems
  • Development of scope proposals, including cost estimates, schedules and other deliverables for client submission and authorization
  • Provide oversight to ensure that the Fabric Maintenance Program is being delivered as per established budgets, schedules and other established KPIs
  • Oversee and maximize planning and scheduling effectiveness
  • Monitoring of costs and budgets, progress, and delivery status
  • Working with Operations and Construction teams to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant execution
  • Interacting with onshore engineering disciplines in analyzing inspection reports and identifying solutions and repair plans
  • Providing input and tracking KPI’s for regular reporting
  • Providing input into overall offshore Construction plan, identifying the requirement for trades as relates to the execution of Fabric Maintenance activities
  • Providing support to offshore personnel during work scope execution
  • Ensuring all work complies with health, safety, environmental and quality policies, and procedures; project specific HSES and Quality plans; and agreed interfacing requirements with customers and sub-contractors
  • Participation in design and constructability reviews, and daily offshore meetings
  • Travel offshore on an as-needed basis
Skills / Qualifications:Candidates should possess the following qualifications:
  • Engineering Degree and Professional Engineer registered (or eligible for registration) with the Professional Engineers & Geoscientists of Newfoundland and Labrador
  • Demonstrated experience in leading a multi-skilled team consisting of engineers and other technical professionals
  • 10+ years of experience in heavy industrial preferably the oil and gas industry with direct Fabric Maintenance and Project Management experience
  • Strong understanding of project principals and processes
  • Ability to effectively communicate at all levels of both internal and Client organizations
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to adapt to changing needs upon short notice
  • Must be self-motivated and able to see tasks through successful completion with minimal supervision
  • Any equivalent combination of experience and / or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved may also be considered
