This is a unique opportunity to become engrained in Canada’s strategy for decarbonization and elimination of GHG.Reporting to the Director - Strategic Growth, this position allows for flexibility in work location.Roles and responsibilitiesYou will conduct research, develop climate change frameworks and strategies, identify risks and trends and market opportunities for the following:· Canada’s roadmap to reduction of GHGs· Zero-emissions initiatives & sustainable energy alternatives· Market trends and opportunities in reduction of GHG emissions and use of clean energy· Renewable fuel industry· Hydrogen and fuel cell technologies· Gaps in existing codes & standards for clean energy· Carbon capture utilization and storage including carbon intensity grids· Long-term policies and business models· Green energy export markets· Industry sectors & international markets for clean fuels· Options for carbon offset credits· Business case development initiatives such as leading proposalsSkills· A passion for fighting climate change and enabling energy transition in North America· Excellent inter-personal and communication skills.· Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Required Qualifications · Bachelor’s degree is required.
