Job Description

IntroductionDovre Group is pleased to present the following opportunity: Royalty Analyst This is a temporary requirement for an estimated period of one (1) year.This position may be shortened or extended at the Company’s sole discretion.FunctionGeneral Key Accountabilities:

  • Provide joint account royalty cost inputs to other owners for our joint venture Terra Nova asset
  • Prepare monthly royalty information for our interesting East Coast projects ensuring compliance with relevant
  • royalty regulations and agreements
  • Support the annual budget and major forecasts
  • Build variance analysis of monthly and annual royalty results
  • Participate in royalty audits, providing data and responding to audit queries
  • Develop and maintain royalty models
RequirementsRequired Education/Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Five years’ experience
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities
  • Essential analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail
  • Flawless verbal and written communication skills
  • The ability to collaborate in a team environment
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with SAP, Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • The ability to summarize data and extract a concise message for presentation and discussion purposes,
  • understanding the qualitative, quantitative, and business frameworks
  • A proven continuous improvement mindset
