We are looking to hire full time or part time students interns in computational sciences to work as research assistant in one of our several interdisciplinary R&D research projects. The student should have experience in web/app development and/or machine learning and artificial intelligence.Note: 1) Student work placement funding will be used to hire students and therefore student needs to be either Canadian citizen/PR. 2) We will be providing training and discounted courses for the students.Duties and Responsibilities:Support in the development of a robust machine learning-based clinical decision support system to predict patient prognosis and in non-health engineering projects.Work with the team to improve the already existing learning-based clinical decision support system, currently in use by the company.Work with the team in developing dashboards and analytics platforms for data management and analysis including development and evaluation of visual analytics tools.Work with the team in developing health technology innovation, biotechnology and biomedical engineering products.Supporting our web designing team in developing smart apps for early detection and management of patient conditions preventing morbidity and mortality and reducing hospitalization.Work with the infrastructure team to deploy new apps, tools and devices to production services.Support in the Quality Assurance and project management of our R&D projectsOther tasks assigned by management such as marketing, sales, administrationJob Types: Full-time, Part-timePart-time hours: 15-35 per weekSalary: $19.00-$21.00 per hourSchedule:
