Our business model of local offices allows us to deliver the best service in our industry and foster successful client relationships.Our OpportunityWe are currently seeking an experienced Surveyor to support projects executed by our St. John’s office. The successful candidate will conduct a broad range of field surveys including construction, topographic, volumetric, preliminary planning, design, control and boundary. Responsibilities include accurately recording measurements and other data, preparing field notes, quality control for survey work, and compiling and computing survey data. Depending upon your experience, you may be called upon to conduct field training, supervise the work of Junior Surveyors, act as Crew Chief, and/or provide crew coordination.The successful candidate will primarily work on projects local to this area, however some travel may be required on an as-needed basis.Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of surveying experience, preferably with Trimble Equipment
  • Diploma in Geomatics Engineering or Surveying Technology, or equivalent field training
  • Proficiency with conventional as well as GNSS survey equipment is required
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Technical competence, attention to detail, and ability to complete tasks on schedule and budget
  • Candidates must be local or willing to relocate to St. Johns, Newfoundland
  • A valid drivers license is required
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
