Job Description

Penn-co Construction is a leading construction company that is looking for Reinforcing Ironworkers to join our team in St Malo, Manitoba. This is an amazing opportunity for anyone looking for a place to grow and excel in the construction industry.Job Duties

  • Read blueprints and specifications to lay out work
  • Unload and stack rebar
  • Assemble rigging to move materials
  • Select, cut, bend, position and secure steel bars in concrete forms
  • Use various power and gas tools
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Requirements
  • Ability to accurately read and interpret blueprints
  • An understanding of safe work practices
  • Ability to work from heights
  • The strength, stamina, and ability to use proper lifting techniques to lift and carry items weighing in excess of 50 pounds
  • Good muscular coordination, agility, and balance
  • Ability to travel for work

  • Outdoor conditions that may include heat, dust, cold, rain, and noise
