We offer several designated marshalling points within BC including Nanaimo, Vancouver, Kelowna, Kamloops, Williams Lake, Prince George, Smithers, and Calgary AB.Reporting to the crew Supervisor, the Certified Warehouse Technician is a part of the Supply & Logistics Team which is responsible for shipping/receiving, materials management, and supporting site & project operations. The successful individual will be required to operate equipment such as forklift, zoom boom and loader in carrying out the duties required of this position as well as duties as directed by the Supervisor and Superintendent of Supply & Logistics.Accountabilities:We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Technician to join our team. Reporting to the crew Supervisor and Superintendent – Supply & Logistics, responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Support the Safety Management System, ensure a safety-first work culture; apply site safety standards, procedures, and policies
• Participate in site safety initiatives and supporting the agreed behaviours in the team
• Commit to and help support NewSafe
• Maintain a clean workplace, complete housekeeping tasks prior to the completion of the daily shifts
• Actively demonstrate respect for cultural and diversity views
• Support the team to continually improve the operational processes; participate in CI projects
• Assist shipping and receiving with unloading trucks and checking in merchandise
• Maintain accurate records of goods entering and leaving the warehouse
• Receive pick tickets and prepare and stage customer orders accordingly
• Work night shift on a rotational basis
• Receive and process warehouse stock orders
• Operate equipment such as forklift, zoom boom and loader
• Enter data in inventory and logistics software
• Maintain and manage inventory levels and controls
• Other duties as required

Qualifications & Experience:

• Interprovincial Red Seal Journeyman Parts Person required
• Experience operating forklift, zoom boom and loader is required
• A minimum of 3 years warehousing experience required
• Experience in mining operations is considered an asset
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• SAP experience an asset
• Physical requirements: lifting, carrying, bending, stretching, and standing for long periods of time
• Valid Driver’s License is required
• A team player that works well with others
• Strong oral and written communication skills
