We offer several designated marshalling points within BC including Nanaimo, Vancouver, Kelowna, Kamloops, Williams Lake, Prince George and Smithers.ResponsibilitiesWe are looking for Haul Truck Drivers to work in our Open Pit at Red Chris Mine, on a temporary six-month contract. Reporting to the Mine Operations Supervisor, responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:The Operation of haul trucks (Cat 777, 785 and 793) in an open pit mine on 12-hour shifts rotating between day and night shiftFollow established traffic patterns avoiding road hazardsPerform pre-shift and post-shift safety inspections and complete daily equipment reportsReport all unsafe mechanical conditionsMaintain good housekeeping practices on equipmentAssist in general mine labour and other duties as requiredThe successful applicants will be a strong team player, able to work independently as required and be committed to safe working practices.
