EDUCATIONAL ASSISTANTInterlake School Division invites applications for a term Educational Assistant position:- 3.0 hours/day, Monday - Friday at École Stonewall Centennial School in Stonewall Manitoba.Working under the direction of a resource teacher, classroom teacher or a clinician, Educational Assistants will supplement the regular instructional programs for students, by assisting students in their intellectual, social and emotional development.Qualifications:· Completion of a High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED) Diploma.· Enjoy working with children and have a basic understanding of their needs.· Well developed numeracy and literacy skills.· Ability to contribute as a team member and willingness to accept guidance and supervision from professional staff.· Able to work flexible hours as required.· A sense of discretion that respects the privacy and integrity of those with whom he/she is associated.· Ability to multi-task.· Be a positive influence on the team atmosphere.Employment will be subject to satisfactory references, Criminal Record and Child Abuse Registry Checks.Applications must include a cover letter and resume.Deadline for applications is Tuesday, February 7, 2023, 12:00 noon.Interlake School Division welcomes applications from Indigenous persons, members of visible minority groups and people with disabilities.
