Job Description

The OpportunityDucks Unlimited Canada (DUC), a leader in Canadian habitat conservation, is seeking a highly motivated and energetic individual to fill a casual call in Maintenance Technician position at Oak Hammock Marsh, near Stonewall, Manitoba.Duties may include but are not limited to:

  • Grounds maintenance (all seasons)
  • General building maintenance
  • Event set-up.
  • Systems testing and maintenance as required by building/fire codes.
  • Special Projects
  • Other duties as required to maintain the facility and support the staff and departments.
Additional Details:
  • This position involves physical work, heavy lifting and outdoor work in all weather conditions.
  • Completing day-to-day general maintenance activities
  • Candidate must be willing to work evenings and weekends.
  • Base hourly wage is $16.00/hr.
Requirements
  • Minimum Grade 12 education
  • 1-2 years related experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with others in teams as well as with little supervision
  • Valid driver’s license
  • The successful candidate will be required to submit proof of COVID-19 Vaccination.
