Job Description

EarthApples – Warehouse helperEarthApples is a seed potato supply company based out of Stony Plain, Alberta. We serve the Canadian market with small packs of seed potatoes and onions that go out to garden centres and chain stores in the spring. For this spring season, we are looking for help to start immediately in our warehouse with packing, order preparation and shipments.Tasks:

  • Handling a machine for bagging potatoes
  • Boxing potatoes
  • Picking orders for shipping
  • Performing all assigned duties in a safe and productive manner
  • Maintaining cleanliness in work area
Minimum RequirementsAbility to lift, push, and slide packages that can weigh up to 50 lbs.Attention to detail and good time management skills.Education: High School DiplomaSkills
  • Attention to detail and safety
  • Positive attitude and hard working
  • Good listening and communication skills
  • Dependability, reliability and punctuality are a must
  • Work well in team environment
  • Accurately pick orders for shipping
Optional skills:
  • Forklift operation experience
  • Pallet jack and electric pallet jack experience
  • E-commerce fulfillment experience
  • Warehouse management
Physical Demands:While performing the duties of the job, the employee is frequently required to stand for longer periods. The employee is occasionally required to lift 50 pounds.Salary: $18 per hourWorking hours: Monday to Friday, 8 hours a day, flexibility in hours may be required from time to timeDuration: Immediate start until approximately the beginning of May.Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Casual, SeasonalContract length: 3 monthsPart-time hours: 40 per weekSalary: $18.00 per hourSchedule:
