Job Description

SummaryFull-Time, 12 Month ContractAt the South Australian Health and Medical Research Institute (SAHMRI), we are committed to achieving innovative, ground-breaking health and medical research that fundamentally improves the quality of life for all people.The Australia and New Zealand Dialysis and Transplant Registry (ANZDATA) is a clinical quality registry based at SAHMRI. Its fundamental purpose is to report on the incidence, prevalence and outcomes of dialysis and transplant treatment for patients with end stage renal disease.The Administrative Assistant/Project Support Officer is responsible for the provision of an efficient specialised administrative service to the ANZDATA Registry. The incumbent will be responsible for coordination of administrative services supporting collection and collation of data throughout Australia and New Zealand.About the roleKey responsibilities include:

  • Monitor day to day activities of the office to ensure workflows are prioritised and urgent matters actioned promptly.
  • Support the management of ANZDATA Registry embedded clinical trials
  • Coordinate and assist with the collection, data entry, reporting and distribution of annual survey requirements
  • Assist with processing and distribution of incoming documentation to the Registry.
About YouThe successful candidate will possess the following key attributes:
  • Completion of administration certificate or equivalent (desirable).
  • Experience working with Registry embedded clinical trials (desirable)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling the formation of collaborative links with colleagues and a broad spectrum of stakeholders.
  • Strong numeracy, spelling and grammar skills.
  • Current keyboard speed and accuracy assessment of 60wpm.
