Job Description

Responsible for the coordination, implementation, evaluation, and operation of Primary Care Clinics within the NorthernHealth Region (NHR). This position works collaboratively with the Medical Services portfolio, other NHR programs andcommunity partners. This position functions in a manner consistent with the Mission, Vision and Values, policies andprocedures of the NHR.QUALIFICATIONS

  • Recognized post-secondary degree, in a Health Profession or in Health Administration (alternate combinations
of education and experience may be considered)
  • Eligible to practice and maintain membership/licensure with relevant Regulatory College (if applicable)
  • Conflict resolution training an asset
  • Minimum two (2) years’ comprehensive experience related to the position
  • Excellent knowledge of Windows based programs (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook) and Internet
  • Experience and/or education in leadership management
  • Understanding and knowledge of Electronic Medical Records and Advanced Access
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to speak Cree an asset
  • Ability to manage effectively within the boundaries of a collective agreement
  • Strong organizational, decision making, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ensures the effective and efficient utilization of resources
  • Ability to work in a high-volume environment
  • Satisfactory employment record required
