Job Description

If you thrive in a dynamic and challenging environment, we want you to be a part of our Team!Our structure and culture encourages innovation, growth and change in an open environment, and we believe in and practice environmental sustainability.Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Support Technician is responsible for the implementation, troubleshooting and support of the technical infrastructure for all manufacturing and business-related server, storage and network devices across the company.Responsibilities:

  • Support production systems hosted on IT infrastructure including thin clients and attached printers;
  • Ensure network accounts are created and modified in a timely fashion including email, CMMS,
Financial, MES, Payroll, Woodlands and other systems;
  • Manage and maintain site network, firewall, VPN and related technologies;
  • Manage and maintain internal and external websites including external domain management;
  • Maintain and monitor site software licenses;
  • Maintain network security for all IT managed systems including patching and antivirus;
  • Work with external contractors and 3rd parties to maintain and update existing systems.
Qualifications:
  • College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science or equivalent work experience;
  • Infrastructure knowledge of computer hardware, including desktops, servers, storage, mobile phones, tablets, printers, and network devices;
  • Knowledge of Microsoft technologies including Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange, Office 365, SQL;
  • Experience with desktop and server operating systems, including Windows and VMware vSphere;
  • Experience with maintaining IP phone systems.
