Were about doing whats right and feeling good about it.Position DetailsWhat You Will Do

  • Design and configuration of products, rate tables and fulfillments in Travel Insurance system
  • Administration of Travel Insurance system including user roles and permissions
  • Provide Tier II end-user support to both internal and external users of Travel Insurance system
  • Interact with business representatives to perform business needs analysis
  • Prepare requirements documents that clearly define the business problems, business objectives, and options/solutions
  • Identify, develop, and document testing strategies with acceptance criteria to validate business requirements
  • Continually assess new solutions and processes to ensure those solutions meet business expectations
  • Prototype potential solutions for business process re-design, provide trade-off information and suggest recommended course(s) of action.
  • Build long-term relationships with internal clients and partners by communicating clear expectations; assist in project sizing, resource and scope estimates
  • Interact with other IT functional units to clarify and build solutions that meet business objectives. These departments include, but are not limited to, Shared Services, Infrastructure and Support groups.
Who You Are
  • Bachelors degree in a quantitative / analytical discipline
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience as a Business Systems Analyst
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in the Insurance industry
  • Proven experience in studying business processes and documenting requirements
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written communication, verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Strong technical acumen and demonstrated experience in data gathering, data analysis, data backfilling, and the creation of conceptual and logical models
  • Experience using MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), MS Visio and MS Project
  • Experience with Travel Medical Insurance is an asset
  • Experience with writing SQL scripts is an asset
  • Experience with SSRS based reports design/configuration is an asset
