Company descriptionRL Landscaping Inc. is an established lawn maintenance and snow plowing contractor in business now for more than 25 years. With a solid and long term customer base, we have built a reputation for quality, dependable and prompt service. We are currently looking for individuals who bring value and possess a great attitude to join our team. We are located in Thornhill and provide landscape and associated services throughout the GTA. We are currently looking for qualified personnel for the position of Crew leaders and crew members.Job descriptionCrew Leaders required for Grounds maintenance in the GTA area. Crew leader will be responsible for 2-3 employees and management of scope of work and completing work schedule. Must have drivers license and experience in the lawn maintenance field.We are also recruiting landscape crew members for Grounds Maintenance and Landscape Enhancements through Spring to Fall season and offer year-round employment possible including Snow plowing and shovel crew though the winter season.Must be familiar with

  • Lawn cutting with push mowers or ride-on mowers.
  • Trimming with line trimmers.
  • Blowing leaves and grass clippings with handheld or backpack blowers.
  • Lawn Aeration.
  • Sod Installation.
  • Pruning, Planting, Soil/mulch installation
We are located in Thornhill, by Bayview and Hwy 7 and offer year-round employment to appropriate candidates at a competitive wage along with other employment benefits.Positions available:Crew LeaderLawn maintenance crew membersResponsibilities:Operate equipment to perform general maintenance duties such as grass cutting , line trimming, blowing and collection of debris.Ensure garden and shrub beds are kept weed free, trimmed and edged.Full-Time hours available April through November.Snow Removal; Driving, equipment operating/ plowing with sidewalk tractor, shoveling, hand salting, site checks, etc.Qualifications :Previous Maintenance experience preferred-A valid license and clean drivers abstract is an asset-Reliability and punctuality is essential-Ability to follow instructions and be detail-oriented.-Able to work in a variety of outside weather conditions for long periods of time.-Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.-Ability to lift 50 pounds and work physically.-Wages based upon experience.-Employee must have their own transportation to the yard-Full and part-time availableWe thank all applicants for their interest.
