You will work closely with members of the marketing and communications teams around the world, as well as web development and Global-IT teams.You have a well-rounded knowledge of the web and digital landscape. You are resourceful and a quick learner who is eager to try new things. In this role you will help drive the delivery of a more unified experience to better support marketing and communication teams using WSP’s content management systems and/or other related digital tools across the globe.You are naturally curious and excited to learn about technologies and web-based tools. You love:Helping others and collaboratingWorking with a diversity of people and culturesTroubleshooting and resolving technical issuesWeb-based technologies, including content management systems (CMS)RESPONSIBILITIESProvide ongoing support and guidance on usage of the CMS systems, primarily for WSP.com and WSP’s intranet:On-boarding of new employees who need to use our CMS.Develop and lead training on effective usage of the CMS to all impacted users including, but not limited to, feature utilization, content management and best practices.Act as a subject matter expert to be able to respond to requests generated from our platform users, which can involve support on the use of our platforms, reporting of bugs and defects and/or minor enhancements.Manage roles and permissions and other features of the CMS for all user groups across the marketing and communications functions globally.Publish communications related to the CMS standard methodologies, new features, downtime, upgrades, etc.Craft, execute and communicate effective governance strategies for usage of the CMS.Advocate for the CMS users in terms of providing input and feedback on various developments of functionality and features.Translate static design concepts into web pages using the CMS features and 3rd party applications.Follow through and ensure the smooth integration of web sites from acquisitionsAssist Marketing and Communications leads at corporate headquarters for campaign page creation, content entry and all other related web publishing support when working on key projects.Support the Global Digital team in the development of new features and enhancements, including User Acceptance TestingRemedy CMS issues in conjunction with the Manager of Global Digital Experience and the web development team.Work closely with Digital and development teams to troubleshoot bugs and work on bug fixing.Work closely with the global design team for insuring best practices for the web.Escalate technical questions or concerns, when required.SKILLSAt least 3-5 years of experience as “webmaster” in a content management system, preferably in Sitecore or similar enterprise level CMSGood technical web skills (HTML/CSS, multimedia standards, Accessibility best practices, Photoshop)Good knowledge of Google Analytics and SEOKnowledge in bug reporting in tools as Jira/Basecamp or other is considered an assetUnderstanding of usability (UX), user-interface (UI)Experience in email marketing and automation is considered an assetExcellent oral and written knowledge of EnglishInternational and intercultural working experience an assetKnowledge of web design, development, and implementation, including HTML and CSS (PHP and JavaScript are an asset)Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail, and the ability to work independentlyExcellent written and interpersonal skillsYou can handle ambiguity and change within a dynamic environmentClear track record of helping customers/partners/clients achieve business resultsEDUCATIONBachelor’s degree in computer science, marketing, web development or equivalent experienceOffers of employment for safety-sensitive positions involving fieldwork are contingent upon candidates being able to perform key physical tasks of the job as described in the job posting and interview.
