** PLEASE NOTE THIS IS AN INTERNSHIP/COOP POSITION. YOU MUST BE ENROLLED IN A CANADIAN POST-SECONDARY INSTITUTION IN NEED OF AN INTERNSHIP/COOP CREDITS TO BE ELIGIBLE **Glistco is a product manufacturer focused on gaming accessories. We strive to provide up to date products for well know brands such as PlayStation and XBOX.You have the opportunity to work for an up and coming company working with cutting edge technologies. We are looking for a motivated and focused individual ready to work.We are looking for a Social media Intern to join our team. Youll develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to increase our web traffic and our brand awareness.Responsibilities:

  • Day-to-day account operation and campaign execution
  • Track and measure social performance and data
  • Managing, creating and publishing original, high-quality content on social platforms
  • Building a loyal audience with authentic content
  • Planning events to engage local customers
  • Understanding different social platforms and how to produce tailored content for each of them
  • Creating, editing, and compiling text, photo, video, and audio assets for posts
  • Influencer marketing - Reaching out to popular influencers providing our products for brand exposure and social proof
You will also be helping with daily activities around the warehouse.Social Media Intern Qualifications and Experiences
  • Displays in-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms, their respective participants (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, etc.) and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios.
  • Maintains excellent writing and language skills.
  • Displays the ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and video format.
